Shipping & Returns
HOW TO ORDER
Orders shall be accepted at our sole discretion but will normally be accepted if the goods that you order are available & your credit card is authorised for the transaction. We will contact you if there are any problems with these issues. Prices quoted to you are the prices set at the time. If for any reason they are increased we will let you know by e-mail & inform you prior to processing your order
PAYMENT
We accept credit card & debit card payments via Paypal. If you are shopping from outside Canada, place your order & your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express. You will own the goods once they have been delivered to the address specified & when we have received cleared payment for the goods in full. Until that time we will retain title to the goods.
SHIPPING
Postage and packaging costs for Canada are $12.00 dollars canadian for all orders under $50, and free for orders over $50. Orders are shipped via Canada Post Expedited. Sorry, we do not ship to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses. Your parcel should arrive within 3 to 5 days of dispatch. We dispatch parcels from Monday to Friday only.
TIMING
Most orders of "in stock" items are shipped within 2 business days (or of payment clearing in the case of payment by cheque). We are now able to send goods to the USA, please contact us for a quote.
SPECIAL DELIVERY
Please telephone us to see if we can help you with any special delivery requirements. In particular, please call before 12 noon to ensure the item is in stock if you would like next day delivery. A signature will be required for the following delivery methods. Please note that we only dispatch orders between Monday and Friday, this applies to Next Day Deliveries. Thus an order made on either Saturday or Sunday would not be dispatched (pending stock availability) until Monday and in the case of next day delivery will be delivered on Tuesday. We can offer express Canpar or UPS delivery. Please contact us for a rate quote to your location.
RETURNS
We hope that you are delighted with your order. However, if for any reason you are not entirely satisfied, you may return any item in its original condition for a full refund within 15 working days from delivery provided that you tell us within 10 working days after the day on which you received the products that you intend to return the item.
Please note that all parcels must be returned within 15 working days of delivery of the goods to you. MG MAISON accepts no liability if you return goods by any method other than a recorded delivery method (one that requires a signature upon receipt). In any event, MG MAISON accepts no liability in respect of returned goods unless and until such returned goods have been received by us in their original condition and in their original packaging.
After we receive the returned items, they will be examined and the appropriate refund will be calculated, which will be the amount paid for the goods but not the postage (unless the return is due to defects or errors on our part as explained below). This amount will be either credited to your payment credit or debit card, reimbursed to you by cheque, or credited towards other goods ordered in exchange, as appropriate. We will notify you by e-mail when your refund has been processed.
In the event that you are returning the goods owing to defects in those goods or owing to incomplete or incorrect delivery, we will refund you: the price you paid for the goods which you have returned to us (inclusive of the initial delivery charge); and the return recorded delivery costs for the return carriage of the goods from the original delivery point to MG MAISON (provided that you enclose a valid till receipt indicating such return recorded delivery costs).
Please note that we cannot accept returned goods that we reasonably believe have been used. In such circumstances, no refund will be available. You will be responsible for arranging for such goods to be returned to you within 28 days of our notification to you that we will not process a refund in respect of such goods.
If you receive an incorrect item, please contact us via email or our toll free number and we will arrange to have the item picked up and the correct item sent out. If you prefer to return the item(s) by your own shipping method, please understand that you do so at your own expense.
A copy of your packing slip or your name and order number must accompany returned items. Please retain a copy for your records.
